FAQ

Common  questions

DO I NEED DANCE EXPERIENCE

Not at all! Dance It! has been designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced dancers. We offer simple gestures like clapping and stepping for younger students, progressing to more complex moves like the Moonwalk, Hip Hop classics, and trending dances like the Floss or Savage dance. Everyone can participate and have fun regardless of their dance background.

HOW DOES DANCE IT! work?

Dance It! is a charades-style movement game that allows for creative expression while building classroom community. Students watch video demonstrations, then perform the moves while others guess the dance. This creates an inclusive environment where everyone learns together, builds confidence, and develops social connections through the joy of movement.

What age groups work best with Dance It!?

Our platform works exceptionally well with students ages 4-13 and 13-17. We have age-appropriate content for elementary students with simpler movements and fun gestures, while our teen content includes more complex choreography and popular contemporary dances that resonate with older students.

What equipment or space do we need?

Dance It! works with minimal setup - just a computer or tablet to display the dances and enough space for students to move safely. Based on educator feedback, we recommend having a clear area where students can spread out comfortably. No special equipment, costumes, or dance floors required - it works great in regular classrooms, gymnasiums, or multipurpose rooms.
